Qualifications & Accreditation
Our wide range of TA qualifications, in order of commitment required, includes:
Our principal, Julie Hay, also manages an international scheme under the auspices of the IDTA, providing TA teaching to children and young people, parents and caregivers, teachers and educators, and others engaged in the processes of developing children.
The great thing about our professional qualifications* is that they allow you to progress through them – you can start with one outcome in mind and then choose to carry over the credit for that if you want to shift to something more extensive.
You can do this all the way from your earliest attendances without any commitment to a qualification, right through to an MSc and/or international accreditation.
* Sorry - not TAPA or TAPDA because they are not run by internationally-accredited TA trainers.
Training and supervision hours provided by Psychological Intelligence Foundation CIC and partners may be credited against various awards operated by several bodies:

Most of the TA qualifications and accreditations we offer are based on Developmental TA – the positive psychology approach that concentrates on the development of healthy functioning instead of the TA psychotherapy focus on pathology and cure.
We also offer NLP Practitioner certification,
in association with Richard Bandler and the Society of NLP

The information on this website is for guidance only and should not be relied upon when decisions are made – the original documents should be consulted before any contracts are signed. Note also that requirements are subject to change.
Julie Hay is also a TSTA Psychotherapy, so offers training and supervision that is recognised internationally for TA psychotherapy accreditations by ITAA and EATA.
Please note, however, that ITAA and EATA provide confirmation of competence but cannot award the ‘right to practice’.
For instance, there are specific additional requirements in the UK for those seeking psychotherapy accreditation so you are recommended to contact a TA training establishment in the UK that meets the full requirements of UKCP or BACP.
Additional requirements apply in some other countries, such as the requirement for psychotherapists to be medical doctors or psychologists.
You are advised to check the legal requirements in your own country; if EATA or ITAA accreditation is enough, Julie will be happy to talk to you about how she might provide you with training, supervision, and/or contractual sponsorship for CTA Psychotherapy.
